The Hardy Lighting Green Perimeter Light provides the 32 cd green illumination required by ICAO Annex 14 and CAP 437 to mark the boundary of the Final Approach and Take-Off (FATO) area and the Touchdown and Lift-Off (TLOF) zone on a helipad.
The green perimeter ring is the primary visual reference pilots use during the final stages of approach — particularly in darkness and reduced visibility conditions.
